WHERE TO BUY TICKETS FOR DISNEY SEA WHILE IN TOKYO
Konnichiwa! There are so many fun things to do while you are visiting Tokyo that I really need to make a whole separate post on just that! Today I wanted to give you a tip if you happen to find yourself in Tokyo, Japan and want to go to Disney Sea!
BUT, WAIT!! You didn't pre-order your tickets! What will you ever do?! No worries! Even though you are in a country that mostly speaks Japanese, it is still super easy to still buy tickets before you get to the park. Let’s explore how to navigate through the bustling city of Tokyo to buy your tickets to Tokyo Disney Sea!
Below is a video I made on my most recent trip to Tokyo. This is how we have always bought our tickets to the park. It’s also a fun place to shop for some Disney gear before you arrive to Tokyo’s BEST theme park!
WHERE DO I GO TO BUY DISNEY SEA TICKETS WHILE IN TOKYO?
If you do not speak Japanese, it will be hard for you to order your tickets at Lawson’s Convenience Store, which is how most local residents purchase them. The most simple way to buy your Tokyo Disney Sea ticket is to visit the Disney Store in Shibuya Japan. The address to the store is:
20-15 Udagawachō, Shibuya-ku, Tōkyō-to 150-0042, Japan
Simply copy and paste that address into Google and make your way to the Disney store! It’s in a very fun part of the city of Shibuya. Before you get there you will make your way by popular tourist sites such as the most famous street crossing in the world, Shibuya Crossing, and the Hachiko Dog Statue. I strongly suggest making time for those two things the day you are in Shibuya. Once you arrive at the Disney Store, enter the Mickey face entrance and make your way to the back left of the store. You will enter a hallway with a staircase to your left. Take the staircase to the top floor. The top floor has the ticket purchase desk as soon as you come off the stairs, directly in front of you.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHYSICAL DISNEY SEA TICKET?
Once you get in the ticket line, you will simply point to what you want. The Disney store associate will ask you to point to what park you want to go to (Tokyo Disney Sea or Tokyo Disneyland), what day on the calendar you are wanting to go, and how many tickets you will need. You will receive your physical printed out ticket immediately at the store. The entire process from entering the store to having your actual ticket in your hands is about 5 minutes-that is, if you don’t stop to look and shop in the store first.
HOW MUCH IS A TOKYO DISNEY SEA TICKET?
The price you will pay for a ticket for Tokyo Disney Sea is 7400 yen per person (about $75 US Dollars). This doesn’t include any food or transportation you will need to pay for the day of your park trip. Stay tuned for a post on exactly how much it will cost you for a day at Tokyo’s Disney Sea.
I hope this relieves you of any anxiety on buying your ticket in Japan. Even though most Japanese locals do not speak English, it is still very easy to travel within the country, and I highly recommend you do!
