Chicken Salad on Sliced Apples Appetizer

So this past Saturday my church held our first Women's Ministry luncheon. I wasn't required to bring anything, but ya'll, this is the South so everyone brought somethin'! I have been working 10-11 hour days lately (and sometimes even longer...) at my antique store and I honestly just didn't have much time to make something homemade.

THAT'S WHEN I TURNED TO PINTEREST.

So I really wanted something that was pretty enough to set out, but that I could make in like 5 minutes. And guess what? I found it!!

CHICKEN SALAD APPLE BITES

So these were UH-mazing! I'm a huge chicken salad fan and the crisp from the apples was a perfect match!!

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

-Pre-made Chicken Salad (I personally love Newk's!)
-Apples (I used Honeycrisp)
Cost came out to about $15

And that's really about it, it really doesn't get much simpler than this.

So here are the very few steps.

1. Slice apples up and remove the seeds. If you have an apple corer this will go much quicker and will take you probably 2 minutes total to make the whole appetizer. But I didn't have that, so I just took a couple minutes to pop the seeds out with a knife.

2. Take scoops of chicken salad and place on top of apples.

TA-DAH!!! CHICKEN SALAD APPLE BITES!

These were so delicious that after the luncheon me and Brandon cut up more apples and ate the rest of the chicken salad with it. This one is going in my special folder. And did I mention how pretty it looks?? This is how it looked set up to the other foods, in case you were wondering.

I hope you enjoyed this quick appetizer idea! If you make it, please comment below on how much you enjoyed it :) Also, don't forget to check out my YouTube channel, where I post videos every week. Eat well :)
